For hundreds of years, the subject of any paranormal conversation was generally taboo and kept behind closed doors. Although the subject is now not just accepted, but a source of entertainment; this change is due, in part, to the number of paranormal television shows that have been adorning our screen for the past few years. While people can argue these shows are fake or just for entertainment, no‐one can disagree that they have brought public interest to the field, which has enabled paranormal researchers’ access to more data and clients which they would not have had in the past. This data has been invaluable to our research, and enabled us to help many more clients.
